Creatine HMB Armor… Whats the hype??

USN‘s Creatine HMB Armour is a breakthrough supplement containing both Creatine Monohydrate and HMB, meaning you can benefit from them both… At the same time!

Read on for a little insight into both of the star ingredients, why they would benefit you in regards to your fitness goals and for my review on the Creatine HMB Armor.

Creatine Monohydrate

Creatine is one of the most researched and sought after sport supplements in recent times for two reasons,  its simple and highly effective. Creatine has been proven to support an increase in muscle mass, strength, power, speed and other forms of high intensity exercise. Although, everyone responds to creatine supplementation differently, it has been accepted that creatine supplementation increases our own natural stores and promotes a faster regeneration of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), which is responsible for providing the immediate energy needed in high intensity activity.

HMB (Hydroxy-Beta-Methylbutyrate)

HMB is a metabolite of the very popular amino acid leucine, which is widely known for its ability to synthesize new muscle. Another benefit of this process is that it also reduces body fat making it a win/win for you. This supplement has been shown to be very effective at reducing the risk of protein breakdown or catabolism within a muscle, especially when in a calorie deficit where muscle sparing is when you need it most. HMB is recommended to take near your workout so it can enhance your performance but also doubles as a recovery supplement at the end of your workout.

In addition to what seems to be an anti-catabolic supplement, in the January 2003 edition of applied physiology, HMB was actually shown to decrease LDL (bad cholesterol), total cholesterol and systolic blood pressure meaning that HMB could actually be of health benefit, potentially reducing the risk of stroke and heart disease!

The Creatine HMB Armour was designed so you could reap from the individual benefits of both Creatine and HMB in one handy product. This claim is supported by research conducted by Jowka, et al. 2001 who demonstrated that this combination increases muscle size, strength, lean body composition and the reduction in overall muscle soreness was evident.

My Thoughts…

From the information listed above, its pretty clear to see that USN have yet again developed a ground breaking product. Not only can it increase muscle strength and size, increase recovery between high intensity activity and reduce the breakdown of lean muscle tissue it also decreases overall muscle soreness all at the same time!! Personally, this products offers me so many benefits that I would usually have to take several supplements for, making my life a whole lot simpler. The supplementation is recommended at 4 capsules daily (2 before workout and 2 after) and the capsules are specially designed for release in the intestines which ensures improved bioavailability. I really like this feature as it avoids any stomach discomfort. Per serving contains a generous amount of Creatine at 3000mg per serving and 1000mg of HMB, which is ideal for a powerful workout because I can feel the boost it gives me during my workouts. Overall, I’m really pleased with the results I have achieved and recommend it to everyone.

To reap these benefits for yourself make sure you get your hands on the all new Creatine HMB Armor! (available here)
